Our operational method relies on a small set of repeatable practices applied consistently across sites. By standardizing plant selection, root conditions, and maintenance response, we reduce variability and support stable, predictable outcomes over time.

Standards of Care

Our care standards define how plants are selected, maintained, and replaced across all installations.

  • Selection Standard : Plants are chosen for documented indoor performance, growth stability, and suitability for typical workplace and building conditions.

  • Maintenance Standard : Plants are expected to maintain healthy foliage, structural integrity, and an appearance appropriate to their species and placement.

  • Response Standard : Early signs of decline trigger corrective action. When recovery is unlikely within a reasonable timeframe, plants are replaced to preserve continuity.

These standards are applied consistently across all installations.

Standard Plant Palette

We work from a defined plant palette selected for reliable indoor performance and long-term stability. The palette is intentionally restrained to reduce variability and simplify care rather than prioritize novelty or short-term visual effect.

Typical palette categories include:

  • Structural foliage plants such as Dracaena, Sansevieria, and Yucca.

  • Broadleaf, lower-variance species such as Aspidistra, Aglaonema, and Zamioculcas.

  • Trailing or softening plants such as Epipremnum (Pothos) and select Philodendron varieties.

  • Palms used selectively where light levels and site conditions support them.

Final plant selection is confirmed after assessment of site conditions.

How Care Is Applied

Installations are configured for long-term stability rather than short-term presentation.

  • Root Conditions: A semi-hydroculture approach is used to stabilize moisture availability and reduce variability associated with traditional soil systems.

  • Routine Service: Plants are maintained on a defined service schedule. Water, nutrients, and canopy condition are adjusted as needed to preserve acceptable presentation standards.

  • Environmental Fit: Light, humidity, airflow, and placement conditions are evaluated prior to installation and incorporated into plant selection decisions.

When plants fall outside established standards and recovery would be unreliable or disruptive, they are replaced as part of normal maintenance practice.
